The Fish Factory & Food restaurants have all been awarded 5 stars by The Food Standards Agency and we are proud to show this off!
The Food Hygiene Rating Scheme (FHRS) will help you choose where to eat out by giving you information about the hygiene standards in restaurants. The scheme is run by local authorities in England, Northern Ireland and Wales and in partnership with the Food Standards Agency.
Each business is given a “hygiene rating” when it is inspected by a Food Safety Officer from the business’s local authority. The hygiene rating shows how closely the business is meeting the requirements of food hygiene law.
Proto Restaurant Group is extremely proud to let you know we have been awarded 5 stars for all 3 of our restaurants and we have the Certificates to prove it! Look out for our Certificates on our front door of all our restaurants.
We also have a fully trained HACCP team who are trained in the HACCP principles (hazard analysis and critical control points). This is a systematic preventive approach to food safety and biological, chemical, and physical hazards in production processes that can cause the finished product to be unsafe, and designs measurements to reduce these risks to a safe level.
At Food & The Fish Factory we are committed to HACCP by top management, which provides our employee’s with the sense of importance of producing safe food. At least you know you are eating in safe hands when you visit either Food or The Fish Factory restaurants.
