The Inaugural Sussex Challenge Cup clay pigeon shoot day took place at the South Down Gun Club on Thursday 4 July. This day was committed to raising thousands of pounds for the Love Your Hospital charity and was organised by Andy Sparsis, Founder of Proto Restaurant Group and Patron of the charity.
Love Your Hospital raises money for Western Sussex Hospitals, NHS Foundation Trust, Worthing, Southlands & St. Richard’s Hospitals. The charity raises funds for new buildings, refurbishments and equipment, all which enhance the existing services. Love Your Hospital Charity are committed to every patient and their families, their staff, volunteers and visitors and we are proud to be able to offer our support to such a great charity.
Andy Sparsis is proud to be part of a business community that understands the importance of helping our local hospitals. Local businesses understand the importance of good hospitals locally. Improving the service and care that we receive directly improves the quality of life of our workforces.
The “Sussex Challenge Cup” was a fantastic day and we look forward to the next one in 2014. Mr Sparsis was delighted at the generosity and support of all the local business people who attended. To be able to sell out an exclusive event of this type can be problematic but due to the generosity of the local business community, getting support was easy and we thank everyone who attended.
If you fancy having a go at clay pigeon shooting yourself then contact the South Down Gun Club and they will be more than happy to assist you. We think that once you try it you will be hooked as it is great fun!
