The month of February is fast approaching and there is loads in store for us, with Valentine’s Day on the horizon but before that arrives the much loved shrove Tuesday, 9 February grab’s everyone’s attention.  This is the day when pancakes start flying around the kitchen.  Watch out as we would hate to see you down A&E!  Pop into any of our four restaurants on this day where we will be serving up some exquisite pancakes.

Shrove Tuesday has marked the history of our country for many years. It is the day before Lent begins on Ash Wednesday. Lent is a time when many people across our nation give things up for a period of 40 days before Easter. The day before this, a big pancake feast begins to fill you up for the big challenge ahead.
